Assists per game is the average number of assists you record per match in EA FC Pro Clubs. It's calculated by dividing your total assists by total appearances. An assist is awarded when your pass, cross, or key action directly leads to a teammate scoring a goal.
What Counts as an Assist?
The game awards assists for:
- The final pass before a goal - the direct pass, cross, or through ball that a teammate converts
- Won headers or rebounds - if your shot or cross is saved and the rebound is scored by a teammate, the original shooter or crosser gets the assist
Secondary assists (the pass before the assist) are not tracked as assists in the Pro Clubs stat system.
What Is a Good Assists Per Game Rate?

Assists Per Game vs Goals Per Game
Combined, your goals per game and assists per game give your goal contributions per game - the most complete measure of attacking impact. A striker averaging 0.7 goals + 0.3 assists = 1.0 contribution per game is performing at an exceptional level. A CAM averaging 0.3 goals + 0.7 assists = 1.0 is equally valuable in a different way.

Tips for More Assists
- Time your through balls correctly. Play the pass as your striker starts their run - not after they've already gone. Early through balls beat the offside trap.
- Use Incisive Pass playstyle. Through balls become more accurate and harder to intercept - essential for creative midfielders looking to top the assist charts.
- Cross from the byline, not the flank. Crosses delivered from close to the goal line are harder to defend and more likely to connect with a striker's run.
- Trigger striker runs manually. Use L1/LB to send your striker in behind the defence, then play the pass into the space they've created.
